Bar/Bat Mitzvah Slideshows
February 1, 2020

Some of my favorite slideshows from last year were Bar/Bat Mitzvah Slideshows. I’ve made Mitzvah slideshows for years now, but having my kids in that age range gives me more insight on what they love and enjoy. Also, as more and more 13 year olds have most of their lives captured in digital pictures and video clips, showing a story of their lives through a montage truly takes you on a trip down memory lane.

While having the technology to click as many pictures as you want seems like a great way to start, it comes with its negative too. It means that parents now have so many pictures to comb through to select the perfect photos for the project and that can be daunting. Here are some pointers to make the process easy for you.

The Vision

It is important to start with an idea about how you want your slideshow to look like. Knowing what you want makes it easier to select and organize pictures. Please contact me to discuss the options so that you can make the best decision for your slideshow.

Chronological: A majority of slideshows are organized by showing the pictures chronologically starting from birth to current time.
By Categories: Pictures can be shown by categories such as “Growing Up”, “With Parents”, “With Siblings”, “Friends and Family”, “Hobbies”, “Vacations” and so on.
Random Sequence: I make a small number of slideshows with a request of showing pictures in random sequence so that there is an element of surprise. These slideshows are quirky, energetic and full of excitement!

Select your Pictures
Depending on the number of pictures you want to include, it is a good idea to spread them equally through the years, or through the categories depending on the plan for the slideshow.

Include Guests
Go through the guest list and try to include at least one photo of each person attending.

Scan Pictures
If you have to include pictures that are photo prints, let me know and I can scan them for you. If you would like to scan them yourself, call me for directions to get the best outcome. I will be glad to go a quality check for you on a few pictures before you scan a whole lot of them.

Cool Styles and Special Effects
Once you send the pictures to me, you can relax while I do my thing! I will add great artwork, special efefcts, and make sure your montage looks better than you imagined! Over the years, I have learned a lot of cool tricks to make your pictures pop. I have collected a lot of styles and special effects to make your montage crisp and interesting to watch.

Process
I’ll show you the preview online and once you are absolutely in love with what you see, I create the slideshow in DVD or HD quality for a memorable viewing experience. If you need your slideshow in various media format, please don't hesitate to ask.

Great Quality
I assure you that you and your family will be wowed by your slideshow! Please check out my reviews on Facebook and Google to see what my clients are saying.

Thank you and Keep Smiling!
~Vish
