Long Distance Valentine's Day Celebrations
January 08, 2013
Valentine's Day is all about spending time together, holding hands, sharing a meal and falling in love over and over again. But life comes up with scenarios that are not always just perfect. Here are some suggestions for celebrating this special day with your partner who is physically, not right by your side. Long distance relationships are tricky but don't let the distance stop you from showing your affection to your significant other!
Make an early morning video call - There is nothing better than waking up to your loved one's smile. FaceTime with him or get online with a webcam and give him a big virtual hug! This will make up for your absence to a great extent and will make him feel warm and loved.
Send your partner loving messages every hour - You know you did that when you were a teenager so don't stop doing cheesy stuff ever! Send text messages often during the day and make them personal. Tell her everything you love about her and mention how much you miss her.
Send flowers and chocolates - People keep talking about how overdone this is and how boring it is. But chocolates and flowers are the most gifted items on Valentine's Day for a reason. Make a special delivery of fresh flowers and yummy chocolates and they really do make you feel warm and special.
Write a song/poetry - Get creative and write a poem for your partner. If it is not your area of expertise, get it done specially by Poetry and Pedestals. Stephanie will take your information and make something perfect just for the two of you.
Get a Slideshow made and watch it together - Upload me some pictures of you and your partner and tell me a little about yourself and just wait and watch the magic with the Valentine's Day Gift I make for you. I will convert those pictures into a romantic movie absolutely personalized with everything you ever dreamed of! I will be very happy to ship two separate copies of the movie to different locations so that you can watch it together. Now open a bottle of wine and relax while you watch. Make sure you have tissues at hand - you will need them :-)
Thank you and Keep Smiling!

Love your Valentine post! Looking forward to utilizing you again for Cora's first birthday in May. John loves watching his birthday video. The child could watch it over and over and over, bless his little heart. It is an heirloom, for sure!
